ARRIVAL IN DUNEDIN VISIT TO BUSHEY FARK Touring New Zealand under the aui* pices of the British. National Union, a large party of ■farmer's from ail parts .of-the .'.British,.Empire arrived in Dunedin last evening froih the north. Ihe member* of the: party stayed in Dunedin last'night,-a rid left to-day for a tour of Central Otago, the Lakes District, and Southland. On Wednesday they .will return,to Dunedin, and two or three days will bo s|sent m and around the city, tours being arranged for the visitors through farming districts as the guests of the Otago A. and P. Society,, the Farmers’ Union, and th o Chamber of Commerce. A, number of cars" have beexr offered the purpose of conveying-the ; visitors* but a great many .. more are yet required, and those, prepared to assist are asked to notify, the secretary ot any of those bodies. . . . On the wav south yesterday the visitors broke their - journey ati Bushey Park, the estate of. Mr J. A- Johnstone, where, according to the leader (Mr Samuel R. Whitley,, Surrey)., they spent the most enjoyablcr and_interesting time vet experienced in New Zealand. Excellent" specimens were seed of Scottish shorthorn cattle and' of Corriedale sheep, the visitors expressing their admiration of. the animals. .
