ORGAN RECITAL TO-NIGHT

Much interest is being manifested in the organ recital to be given to-night in the Maori Hill Presbyterian Church by Mr Chas. A. Martin. This will bo Mr Martin’s first recital since his appointment to the above church, a-’d residents of Maori Hill should avail themselves of being present. A fine programme includes Bach’s ‘ Fantasia and Fugue in A Minor,’ Gome’s * II Guarany,’ Weber’s' ‘ Jubilee Overture,’ and the popular ‘Barcarolle’ from Offenbach’s ‘Tales of Hoffman.’ Miss Marjorie M'Dowell, a promising young pianist, will play the first movement from tho ‘ Emperor ’ concerto (Beethoven), and Mr Alfred Walmsley will sing arias from the works of Bach and Handel.
