Ritson, who has completed thirty years as secretary of the British and Foreign Bible Society, which publishes 12,000 Bibles a day. * Printed in 623 languages and dialects, the society has circulated 237,000,000 Bibles. > With the exception of Russia, where the society is excluded, Dr. Ritson has seen the European Bible circulation doubled from 763,000 to 1,420.000 volumes. In South America it has risen from 41,000 to 505,000 annually.
