NEXT WEDNESDAY'S BROADSIDING

Next Wednesday’s big attraction at the Speedway Royal, South Dunedin, will be the appearance of the famous! English lady broadside rider. Miss Pay Taylor, who has competed with success against:the best men rider* in Australia and New Zealand. Miss Taylor is a niece of Lord Riddell, ajid is a gjrl of many parts, having represented her country at hockey, as well as being a first-class tennis player. Sho is a brilliant exponent on the cinders. She has some fine performances to her credit, and has several times registered j 1.20 for the quarter-mile circuit. It was only two years ago that Miss Taylor first leirned to ride a motor cycle, and her experience of the cinder track is less than that. Accompanying Miss Taylor will bo Arthur Mann, one of the best Australian cinder track riders, and Wednesday! night’s programme promises to eclipse the remarkable success scored on the opening night.
