Here is a new way to make vanilla cream tablets They are very nice, too. Dissolve two pounds of granulated sugar in a pan, with half a pint of water, then boil until it will crack when tested in cold water. At this stage add hall a pint of cream or milk, and one ounce of butter, and stir until very well mixed. Drop in, drop by drop, two teaspoonsful of vanilla essence, and boil again until a little will snap in cold water. Take off tiie fire, and then beat briskly until it candies. Pour into a greased tin, and mark off as usual. Cheerio, everybody. BIG BROTHER BILL.
