This is the winning competition sent .in byßae Fairbairn, 10 West avenue, St. Clair. It is a rather clever puzzle, -but not so clever as to be impossible of solution. Once yon see the idea you ought to be able to have a little profitable fun guessing all the words that begin with Ann. You must remember that the “ Ann ” which begins all the correct answers may have either one or , two of the letter n ANN NOW ACTIVE IN RUSSIA— Anarchy. ANN WITH POETIC FEET. ANN LIVING AS A HERMIT, ANN WITH AN UNATTRACTIVE FIGURE. ANN AMONG SPRING FLOWERS. ANN TELLING A STORY. ANN ON HER BIRTHDAY. ANN FULL OF LIFE AND SPIRIT. ANN COMING EVERY YEAR. ANN OF ENGLISH BIRTH. ANN HOLDING A SHIP. ANN AND HER FOREFATHERS. ANN WITH SOMEONE ELSE. ANN WITH AN OPPONENT. ANN MAKING A REPLY. ANN AT THE SOUTH POLE. ANN WHO LIVED BEFORE THE FLOOD. ANN OLD AND OUT OF STYLE. ANN SINGING CHURCH MUSIC. ANN JUMPING AT A CONCLUSION. ANN WITH A STRONG NATURAL AVERSION. ANN IN A TEASING MOOD.
