(Received January 21, at 10 a.m.) A San Diego report states that without any previous experience of motorless flying, Colonel Lindbergh took off in a glider and flew half a mile over the ocean. He attained an altitude of 500 ft, and remained aloft half an hour. On his return he was awarded a firstclass glider license, being the ninth in the United States.
