“Robinson seems to be rather an optimist,” remarked Wallis. His brother laughed. “Optimist! I should think ho is! Why, he’s just gone in for a competition with a motor car as first prize, and he’s already started building a garage. Is that what you’vo heard ? ” Wallis shook his head. “ No,” ho replied. “ 1 didn’t know about that. But I’ve just been talking to his wife, and she tells me that ho wont into n restaurant last night and ordered an oyster supper, although he hadn’t got enough money to pay the bill. You sec, ho reckoned on Bottling it with the pearls ho got out of tho oysters.”
