(Received January 7, at 11 a.m.) The Prime Minister, who is spending the Christmas parliamentary recess at bis native town of Lossiemouth in Scotland, has been closely engaged during the past week with work relating to the Five-Power Naval Conference, which opens on the 21st. He has been in telephonic communication daily with Downing street, and has kept in closest touch with developments iu connection witli the conference. Mr MacDonald is due to leave for London on Thursday, and on Saturday will meet the party of delegates who are to be present at conference*
