The South Island Dairy Association has received the following market reports from the New Zealand Produce Association, London:—Butter: 156 s to 160 s; Danish, 176 s to 178 s. Markets slow. Cheese: White, 87s to 88s; coloured, 85s to 86s; markets quiet. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., have received the following cable from London; dated January 2 :—The butter market is slow. Quotations are as follows: Danish butter, 176 s to 178 s; New Zealand finest butter, 156 s to 160 s; Australian finest unsalted, 158 s to 1625; salted, 154 s to 1565; Australian G.A.Q., 150 sto 1525. The cheese market is slow. Quotations are as follows New Zealand cheese, white 86s to 87s, coloured 85s to 86s; Canadian cheese, white 95s to 98s, coloured 95s to 98s, c.i.f. not quoted. DAIRY PRODUCE. . The National Mortgage and Agency Company, Ltd., are m receipt of the following cable from Messrs A. J. Mills and Go., Ltd., Londonßutter: Market slow. New Zealand finest, 158 s to 160 s; New Zealand first grade, 156 s to 1575; Danish, 174 s to 1765; Australian,'- 154 sto 1565. Cheese: Market quiet.
