SWIMMERS FOR TRAINING

The following swimmers are requested to keep in training with a view to tliier selection in the Otago team for the New Zealand championships next month :—R. C. Calder -and H. E. Walker (men’s diving), Miss O. Crowley (Indies’ diving), R. M‘Lay and J. Durand (intermediate boys’ diving), C. Durand (intermediate boys’ breastl stroke). Miss M. Mathieson (intermediate girls’ events), C. B. Lewis (men’s breaststroke), R. Geddes and W. Jarvis (junior boys’ events). Miss Nancy Olds (junior girls’ events). Tho final selection of the Otago team will bo made about the time of the Batt Cnp race, in which event the swimmer registering the fastest time wil! be considered for inclusion in tho Otago team. On January 8 tho 100yds ladies’, 150yds junior boys’, and 880yds men’s championships will bo decided at the baths at 8.45 p.m.
