(Received December 21, at 9.50 a.m.) A joyful start for Christmas at home, which for one man also meant seeing his newborn baby, ended tragically when an aeroplane crashed in Rolling Field, killing live men, including the Massachusetts Congressman Mr William Kaynor. The plane had gained an altitude of about 900 ft when the motor failed. The machine crashed swiftly to earth. All four passengers and the pilot died instantly. The dead include Mr Raynor’s secretary and Captain Harry Dinger, an army pilot.
