A SAD TRAGEDY Treat Atsoaafion—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, December 21. (Received December 21, at 11 a.m.) A tragic affair occurred at Kempsey. Mr W. Mainey’s two sons, aged ten and seven, got into difficulties when paddling in the Macleay River. The father dashed to the rescue and brought one out. He placed him on a sandbank and returned for the second boy, but was unable to find him. Upon coming back for the first boy be found that bo had been washed into deep water again, and was drowned. Botn bodies were recovered.
