November 9, at 11.30 a.m.) The inquest on the bodies of the seven persons who lost their lives in tho disaster which befell the German air liner in Surrey on Wednesday was opened to-day at Caterham. It. was adjourned for a fortnight in order to enable Lieutenant-commander Glen Eidston, who is the sole survivor, and who was injured, to give .evidence. The bodies of the German victims will be taken to Germany for burial as soon as' arrangements can be made. They were identified as Bruno Rodschinka (the pilot who was in charge of the machine), Heinrich Nikas (wireless operator), Wilhelm Ulrich (mechanic), and Prince Eugene Von SchaumburgLippo (second pilot). One of the three British passengers whose bodies wore identified was Mr John Black Whyte, a jute merchant, whose home was in Calcutta. The medical evidence was to the effect that the death of Prince Von Schaumhurg-Lippe, who escaped from tho burning aeroplane, but succumbed last night in hospital, was due to extensive. burns and shock.
