Blackball last niglit. tho victim being a’young man named Thomas Egan, aged twenty-five vears. a cripple. All tho other members of the family were absent at the time, and when tho house was discovered to bo on fire tho flames had a strong hold, rescue work being impossiblc. 0 There is no water supply at Blackball, and tho house was demolished, the charred remains of the deceased being subsequently found. Tho parents reside at Blackball, and four sisters are resident at Ciuistcluu’ch.
