FIRE AT NEWCASTLE
TIMBER MILLS GUTTED A MAN BADLY BURNED. Press Association—By Tpicgsap’i—Copyright. NEWCASTLE, October 26. Damage running into many thousands of pounds was dona by a fire which gutted the timber mills of Messrs Breckenbridgc, Ltd. Within a few minutes of the outbreak the whole yard was a raging inferno. The firemen effected a remarkable save when the fire seemed likely to sweep the whole block. The man who gave the alarm was badly burned.
