Mr Ramsay MacDonald, Prime Minister. who it on his way home from Canada, on board the liner Duchess of York, is due to reach Liverpool on Friday He will be welcomed on his arrival by some of his Cabinet colleagues. A public demonstration of welcome is being planned by the Liverpool Labour Party. The Prime Minister’s most important engagement after his arrival in London will be the Lord_ Mayor’s banquet at the London Guildhall on November 9, and the anticipate that in his on this occasion special reference will be made to his visit to the United States and Canada and to the Five-Power Conference on naval disarmament which is to take place in London in January.
