DEPUTATION TO HIGH COMMISSIONER VEILS NOT WORN Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. JERUSALEM, October 27. (Received October 28, at 10.15 a.m.) A congress of Arab women from throughout Palestine held to-day _ decided to support the Arab Executive’s demands to the British Government. The High Commissioner received the delegation, the women without veils, for the first time in the history _of Palestine before any stranger _ outside their nearest kin. They said they wer© doing this for their country, snd were prepared to do much more if necessary. It is stated that the spokeswoman strongly protested against the Balfour Declaration.
