The annual Henley-on-Yarra regatta attracted thousands of voung people and many charming houseboats, lucre were 435 oarsmen and seventeen sen.lers competing in fmty-nine events. The Grand Challenge Cup for senior eights resulted as follows; —Hawthorn crew 1, Sydney crew 2. Won by threequarters of a length. Time, omm 28sec.
