The British Government has informed the secretariat of the League of Nations that in view of the importance of the conference to be held at ■ Geneva yn Februar on the subject of a tariff holiday, Mr William Graham (President of the Board of Trade) will head the British delegation. _ ' Mr Graham, interviewed last night, said the whole subject of the conference was to reduce the proposals for a tariff truce to a practical form, and it was felt that a better chance of success would be assured by the personal attendance of a Minister. Mr Graham added that he was optimistic as to the result of the conference.
