FRENCH POLITICAL CRISIS
SOCIALIST’S EXPLANATiOH Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. PARIS, October 23. The Socialist Party has issued a manifesto stating that the fall of the Ministry was not meant as a rejection of M. Briand’s foreign policy. _ The statement declares that the Socialist Party has always been in the forefront of those parties which strive for peace, and the vote against the Government was a protest against M. Briand for refusing to submit to parliamentary control.—Australian Press Association.
