MORAY PLAGE SCHOOL CONCERT

For the purpose of augmenting the Moray Place School funds, the annual concert was held in the Burns Hall last evening. A large and enthusiastic audience received every item with applause and encores were numerous. In his opening remarks, Mr D. Terry' (chairman of the school committee) thanked those present for their assistance to the school. The programme was as follows : Dunedin Tramway Band (Lust fell overture and ‘ Invercargill’); Spanish dance, Miss Olga Ferguson; elocution- ;; r y items, Mr De Spong: Moray Place School Band (selections); recitation. Miss Joy Knowles; song, school choir: soldiers’ dance, Miss Daphne Irwinand songs, Mr MTherson. The accompaniments were played by Miss Clara Schofield.
