A feature of to-day’s play was Lindrum’a splendid 645 in the afternoon session, in which he had three runs ot 60, 65, and 62 close cannons, which made up more than half of the total. M'Conachy’s best break of 424 was made at his first visit to the table m the evening. Despite the fact that the New Zealander is suffering from a severe cold he gave a masterly display.
