BATTALION TO BE WITHDRAWN (British Official Wirel«i*.i Press Association—By -Telegraph—Copyright. RUGBY, October 28. (Received October 24, at 11.30 a.m.) After careful consideration in conjunction with the military experts the British Government has decided to withdraw from Palestine one of the battalions which were sent there following the recent disturbances. This battalion will be sent to Egypt. _ The four battalions ordered to Palestine at the time of the riots were the first battalion of the South Wales Borderers, the first battalions of the King’s Regiment, the second battalion of the South Staffordshiros, and the second battalion of tho Green Howard's.
