Meeting to-day in the palatial new building iu Shortlind street, Auckland shareholders of the South British Insurance Company had a pleasant message to receive in the announcement ol profitable results from the year’s operations, and an increased rate of dividend. In notifying these facts, however, the Chairman of Directors (Mr V. J.
