Mrs George Adess, president of the Ladies’ Bowling Association, congratulated the St. Clair Club upon affiliating, and remarked that the organisation was prospering. Mr R. Hanning, representing the centre, entertained the company with a short and humorous address' on the entrance of the fair sex to the sport, which he considered would strengthen bowling in various ways. Mr H. Ualliday, president of the St. Clair Club, assured the ladies that their welcome was not wearing out. Mr T. J. Walker, at the request of the ladies, declared the green open for their use. Mr J.
