I A REGENT ATTRACTION .‘ The idle JiicJi ’ is one ol the la'lking pictures to be offered at the Regent Theatre on Friday. Conrad Nagel heads the cast of this Metro-Goldwvn feature, I and with him are a number of prominent players. She jsof humble parentage, but that does not deter her admirer from visiting her family, who are happy and contented, despite . their poverty. He determines that Joan shall live in'a •fashionable'quarter of New York. The inherited wealth of William is resented by the girl’s family, but be overcomes their scruples in an unexpected way. The cast includes Leila Hyams. Robert Ober, James Neill, Edytife Chapman, Paul Kruger, and Kenneth Gibson. There are some fine foaturettos in the supporting programme. _ ‘The Shady Lady,’ the other attraction, is a Pathe talking; production,starring Phyllis Haver.
