Tho Byrd Expedition ship, City of New York, will go into dry dock at Port Chalmers this week for painting and overhaul. It is expected that she will leave here for the Antarctic in December. , The Canadian Explorer will dock at Port Chalmers for minor repairs after her arrival here from northern ports. TELEGRAMS.
