Amanullah,-when telegraphing congratulations to Nadir, described himself as ‘‘ an Afghan who loves his country.” On being interviewed, ho said: 1 do not intend to offer any opposition to the policy of Nadir, and I willingly accept the decisions of the National Assembly, which elected him King. 1 have no intention ot aspiring to the throne, and I am ready to serve Afghanistan even in the capacity of a simple citizen.”—Australian Press Association. OUTRAGES BY TRIBESMEN. DELHI, October 19. Four foreign legations at Kabul, including the British, wore attacked and looted after the capture of the city by Bhahwal troops, who ran amok, sacking Amanullah’s palace and treasury. Three men were killed while gallantly defending the British Legation from attack by Kohistani tribesmen.—Australian Press Association. . ACCUSED OF TREACHERY. DELHI, October 20. (Received October 21, at 9 a.m.) Nadir Khan is accused of treachery against Amanullah, whose supporters are ssupected to be responsible for a plot to overthrow Nadir.—Australian Press Association.
