The fortnightly meeting of Hereweka Lodge, No. 60, T.0.0.F., was held in the lodge room, Portobello, N.G. Bro. Edmonds presiding. The D.D.G.M., Bro. Kirkham, accompanied by the installing officers, P.G.M. Bro. Valentine, P D D G.M. Bro. Johnson, P.D.D.G.M. Bro.’ W. Smith, aud P.D.D.G.M. Bro. Glover, along with a largo number of visitim* brothers from Dunedin, were admitted and welcomed. The following officers were then installed into their respective cliairs —J.P.G., Bro. T. S. Edmonds; N.G,, Bro. D. Seaton; Y.G„ Bro. W. Gill; Dro. D. Arnott; treasurer, Bro. W. A. Seaton; chaplain, Bro. J. MfKay; warden, Bro. Kerashed; conductor, Bro. Brown; R.S.N.G., Bro. Broadley; L.S.N.G., Bro. M. Pero; 8.5.V.G., Bro J. Clark; L.S.V.G., Bro. J. Harris ; R.S.S., Bro. A. Miller; L.S.S., Bro. D. M‘Kay; 1.G., Bro. D. Rutherford; 0.G., Bro. Hanson. The installing officer, P.G.M. Bro. Valentine, addressed the lodge and also the new officers. Bro. Carrol, of Royal Stanhope Lodge, Victoria, was introduced by the D.D.G.M. and given a hearty welcome. Mrs Cane “ D’you know, I’m afraid Mrs Fitzpots must be offended about something, Dick. She hasn’t been to see us for several days.” Mr Cane: “ Oh, well, next time she comes, dear, find out what it is, and we’ll try it again.” '
