WHAT THE BOROUGHS GET ' £t,BM FOR DUNEDIN [From Ode Parlumektakt Kepoetse.] WELLINGTON, October 13. .The .Minister of Works (Mr Ransom) lias prepared statement showing petrol tax distributions for tho quarter ended September 30. The sum of £17,913 is available for cities and boroughs of a population of "more than 6,000 inhabitants. This figures represents 8 per cent, of the petrol tax collected by the Customs Department during July, August, and September, and the amount is payable ;iir proportion to population.
