BLOUSES AGAIN
. Blouses, instead, of jumpers, are to he worn with the tailored suit, we are told. There is too. a decided tendency to lengthen the coat, which is worn with a neat skirt belted at the waist. The coat is three-quartei length showing just two or three inches of the skirt only. There is in this an attraction for the girl who has to study economy, because the coat will do duty ns an extra, with a silk or flimsy frock when the occasion requires something a little more dressy or the day permits a light frock with just a coat in case it gets chilly. With the tailored suit it is correct to wear a shirt-waist, as the Americans describe blouses. These are preferably of a cotton material slightly stiffened. The tiny patterned checks are the most popular.
