Tho newspaper ‘Pravda’ states t-hat the Trade Union Congress at Vladivostoek has been greatly hampered by the police, who held up tho Australian delegates at Kobe although their passports and visas were in good order, and the Indian Government held up all the Communist leaders who planned to attend tho congress. Despite tins (says tho ‘Pravda’) the congress laid a strong foundation for_ increased activities by Red trade unions in the countries bordering the Pacific' Ocean. —Australian Press Association.
