BOSEHiLL 'RACES SYDNEY, August 25. Principal results ah the Roschill Meeting:— Maiden Hurdles, 250sovs. About 2m. —Ostentation (9.G) 1, Bensbun (9.0) 2, Honest Light (9.0) .3. Ten started. The New Zealand horse, Penman, made the early running, but was eased up and returned to the enclosure lame. Won by five lengths, with a length and a-half between second and third. Time, 3min 41scc.
Dundas Handicap, 250sovs. 71. First division; Paquito (New Zealand) (8.10) 1, Holdfast (8.1) 2, Paganelli (9.11) 3. Eleven started. Paganelli and Holdfast Tn turn led the field to the straight entrance, where the lastnamed had an advantage of two lengths from Paganelli. Then_ Paquito came fast from fourth position to win by three-quarters of a length, with Pagnnelli two lengths and a-half away. Time, Irnin 2Gsoe, Second division: Lord Eijdorus (8.4) 1, Loquacious (8.11) 2, Aussie (10,1) 3. Ten Aussie was prominent early and gained the lead a furlong from homo, but Endorns finished strongly and won by a neck', with Aussie Half u length back. Time, Irnin 264-see. August Handicap, 250sovs. Ira and 3f —Stormy (3.0) 1, Lady Clara (7.5) 2, Bacchus (9.5) 3. Nine started. Eillorn made the pace to the half-mile, but Stormy had the lead into the straight, and went, ahead . to win by three lengths, with the third horse two lengths away. Time, 2min 21sec.
Throe and Four-year-old Handicap, SOOsovs.. 7f. —'Ticino (8.7) 1, Violin Solo (7.10) 2, Woodgers (7.11) 3. Twenty-fivo started. Won by half a length. Night March finished seventh. Time, Imin 27soc. Parramatta Mile, 200sovs.—Tidal (8.11)' 1, Garrula (10.2) 2, Golden Music (8.13) 3. Twelve started. Garrula led into the straight, then Tidal came along and won by Wo lengths, with tho third horse a length' and nhalf away. Time, Imin 42sec.
