PLEA FOR IMPROVEMENT LONDON, July 30. What was needed now were first-class hotels along the main roads —say, at least one every hundred miles. , If they were to hold their own with other countries, they must get the right people to run hotels. The public should understand that the hotel industry was not content to be dubbed and looked upon as a branch of the publichouse trade.
