A- ROUGH RIGHT ABOARD THE “ MAHENO.” A short time ago the “ Maheno ” experienced a very rough trip on her way from Wellington to Lyttelton. A lady who was travelling to Christchurch was not feeling too well, as she had a very sore throat. A friend, who was travelling with her, however, induced her to take a dose of Baxter’s Lung Preserver before she retired to her cabin for'the night. “ You’ll, find this will do you good,” he remarked, l “ I’m a great believer in “ Baxter’s.” ’ In fact, this bottle I took with me to Australia last month, and brought it back with me again as I did not need it while there.” His friend told him in the morning that her throat was quite right again. “ Baxter’s ” is not an untried remedy. It is unique in relieving coughs, colds, influenza, croup, and asthma, and also possesses splendid tonic properties.
