TO-MORROW’S FOOTBALL
RUGBY LEAGUE There will be a feast of League at the Caledonian Ground, where two senior matches will be played. Christian Brothers will meet Kaikorai in the early game, and will be followed by City and Pacific. All these teams play the open game in all its points, and ns close finishes are expected both games should be very exciting. Athletic will travel to Kaitangata to play the local side. The Oval will be the scene of two junior matches, the first being between Pacific and Athletic, and the second between Christian Brothers and Kaikorai. SOCCER The semi-final of the knock-out coml>etitiou will take place at Logan Park main ground, when the contesting teams will be Maori Hill and Y.M.C.A., at 1.30, and Northern and Mosgiel, at 3. Lately the standard of play has been remarkable for the evenness amongst the various teams, as witness the defeat of the two top teams in the premiership competition in the first round of the knock-dub laxt Saturday by Northern and Mosgiel respectively. To-morrow’s matches are expected to provide equally as good football, and no doubt there will be a largo follow? iug to watch the fortunes, of thg pjay,'
