SOUTHLAND The rush for reserved seats yesterday reflected the great interest that is being taken in tho representative match between Otago and Southland, which will bo played at Carisbrook to-morrow, and there is every indication that the attendance will bo a very big one. Roth teams will be at full strength, and the play should be right- up to tho high standard of these particular matches. The curtain raiser will be played between Alhambra A and University E, two of the leading third grade teams. Mr A. Eckhold has been appointed referee and Mi’ R. M’Kenzie line umpire for the big match.
