(Received August 14, at 9.20 a.m.) The international air race has degenerated into a farce, it finishes at Orly, near Brussels, but no arrangements have been made to register the arrivals at Orley before 3 o’clock on the afternoon of Wednesday; hence Broad and Miss Spooner, who have averaged 700 miles per day, and easilyoutdistanced the others, are wasting time in order to make the final hop.— Australian Press .Association.
