MOAHA CLUB The twenty-first annual report of tin committee of the above dub states The committee congratulates member on having had another successful yea; The membership lias been well man: tamed, and the standard of play ha been of a high order, which statenier is borne out by the result of interdn. matches. A grade played six, won six;

B grade nlayed six, won four, lost two. The A grade team is therefore to bo congratulated upon winning the senior competition. The B grade began well, but owing to the lack ol esprit de corps failed to carry on. We would recommend the B team to practise more individually and collectively, with a view to improving the play of the team as a whole. Several members competed at the Easter tournament, Guy and Miss Partridge being in the cliampionship mixed doubles. We have also to congratulate Dr Moody on his success shortly after his return tx-oin the Continent, when he, in company with Mrs Hetley, won the open championship mixed doubles of the Hastings Club. The following members represented Otago in interprovincial matches:—Dr Moody, Guy, and Duthie, Misses Partridge, Sheriff, Moloney, and Heywood. Several improvements have been made during the year, including the painting of the pavilion. The club’s thanks are due to the Works Committee for the way in which the grounds have been kept, and at an expenditure of much less than previous years. Topdressing the courts will have to be con sidered in the near future. The (inanccs of the club"are in a satisfactory state.
