Fatal bums were received at Cairns by Matte Baecalotti, when all his clothes were burnt off following an explosion. of petrol on his farm at Babiuda. Another Italian, Peter Accitino, was severely burnt, and is now in hospital. He jumped over a bank into a creek, and when he scrambled back he found Ids companion in a frightful condition, only ids leather belt remaining on Ids body.
