Brown’s wife was musical. She had other faults as well. But .Brown was a good husband, and when she showed a desire to learn. the violin ho promised to make her a present of one. That afternoon Brown could have been seen in the local music shop. “A violin for yonr wife?” said the assistant. “Certainly.. sir.
