RIFLE SHOOTING
AIR FORCE CHAMPIONSHIP SUCCESSFUL NEW ZEALANDERS. LONDON, June 5, (Received June 6, at 10.30 a.in.) Flight-lieutenant S. Wallingford won the first stage of the Air Force rifle shooting championship with 172 points. Another New Zealander. Pilot-officer Binley, who recently gained his commission in the British Air Force, was second with 167. [ A cable published yesterday staled that Flight-lieutenant Wallingford will shortly leave for New Zealand to take up an Air Force commission, and join his father, who was a well-known pre-war competitor ajb Bisley.]
