GORE WATER SUPPLY HEALTH BOARD’S ACTION [Special to tbb ‘ Stab.’] WKLLTNGTOX, June 5. The. purity of the Gore water supply has been receiving the attention of the .Board of Health. In May, 1928, the medical officer of health became concerned over the quality of the supply, which is obtained from a well and distributed from a high-level tank. Analysis revealed a certain measure of pollution. 'The Borough Council’s attention was called to this delect, but no action was taken. The matter was further reported on at the last meeting of the Health Board, when it was resolved to notify the borough that it must either purify the existing supply by chlorination or take steps to provide a new source of supply. A requisition to this effect is to he issued immediately.
