THE ARCADE.

TO TEE EDITOR,

Sir, —When it was proposed recently to construct a full-sized road through the Arcade a, plan was exhibited in the -newspapers showing the ‘‘Occidental” corner rounded oil'. The road proposal was turned down, but there is now a building about to be erected at the corner in question. Does the rounding-off proposal still stand? It would be a pity if it did not, because the road may have to be made some day. Even if it is not, the roundingoff of this corner would help the view materially.—l am, etc., J.M. May 1(3.
