Kidson) supplied the following at noon to-day:—The indications are lot moderate, northerly winds, freshening later; there is a prospect of line weather at first, hub increasing haze and cloudiness; barometer falling slowly: flic weather will probably become warmer; seas and tides moderate.

Arriving yesterday atternooA ' irom Wellington the Breeze was loading today preparatory to sailing to-night lor Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. Shortly after midnight the Corinna arrived from Wellington. She is to sail at 5 o’clock this evening lor -Nelson and New Plymouth via ports. The llohudale also arrived this morning irom Wellington to load lor W anganui via the usual ports. It was expected that the Opihi would leave Westport yesterday with coal lor discharge at Bluff and Dunedin. On Saturday the Waipiata left Auckland with cargo lor Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. The Kahika. is to leave Gisborne on Wednesday next for Dunedin, where silo will load on Monday lor Napier and Gisborne via Oamaru, Timaru, and LyfteJton. Coal is to he loaded at Westport on Wednesday bv the Kamona. Her ports of discharge will bo Lyttelton, Tiraaru, Oamaru, and Dunedin. About Friday next the Kaloa is to clear Auckland for AVellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Timaru. The tanker Brunswick is expected to airivo at Auckland about June 1 from San Pedro with a cargo of bulk oil. Siio will discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. Cable notification is to the effect that the King Crnffyd was to leave Antwerp last Friday with a. cargo ol basic slag for discharge at Auckland and Xew Plymouth. After undergoing overhaul and survey at Auckland the Poolta was dispatched from there on Saturday alternocn for Grafton. Taking passengers and cargo the Union Company’s .steamer Manuka left Wellington at 1 o’clock on Saturday afternoon for Melbourne.

HOR 01? AT A AT LONDON. A‘cable message to the New Zealand Shipping Company reports that the Hororata arrived at London on Wednesday from Auckland. She sailed from Auckland on March 21. MAIMOA LEAVES LIVERPOOL. A cable 'message to the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company reports that the Maimoa, Jolt Liverpool on April 27 with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The vessel is due at Auckland on June 4. PAKEHA DEPORTED. Tim Shaw, Savill, and Albion' steamer Pakeh.t is reported to have cleared Tencrilfc last Monday in continuation ol r her voyage from New Zealand to London. She sailed from Wellington on March 23. KENT LEAVES PANAMA. The Kent, from Liverpool, left Panama on Tuesday for Auckland, where she is due on May 22. The vessel has cargo for discharge at Auckland, 'Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth. KALTOKE EOR NEW ZEALAND. The Union Company’s steamer Kaitoke is expected to leave Port Kembla about Thursday next with a cargo ot coal for discharge at Lyttelton and Dunedin. CANADIAN PR]TISJTEII AT AUCKLAND. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. advise that the Canadian Britisher arrived at Auckland yesterday morning from Halifax. She brought general merchandise. for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, and is duq at this port about' May 10.

The Waipalii lias recommissioned at Auckland with the following engineers;—Chief, Mr C. W. Pirie; second, Mr L. W. Williams; third, Mr W. A. Atkinson; electrician, Mr G. Wright. Mr N. M‘Caig has rejoined the M< lungamn as chief engineer after being ashore on holiday leave.

The following engineers have been appointed to the Malieno:—Chief, Mr \V. W. Houghton; second, Air \V. A. Scott; third, Mr G. Earl; fourth, Air H. Yartha.

Mr H. G. "Whyte has been appointed third engineer of the Jvairanga. The "Waipahi lias been placed in commission at Auckland, and Captain G. B. Hoddinott is in command. His deck officers are:—Chief, Mr W. Johnson: second, Mr N. H. Pearson; third, Mr 1). L. Turner. Mr H. L. P. Brown has relieved Mr C. Burgess ns chief officer of the Waiotapu for holidays. Mr C. R. - Mr il. Allan has joined the .Kamo as second officer, relieving Mr 1. B. JDymock. Mr Dymock has transferred to the Kiwitea in a similar capacity, relieving Mr J. il. Ibbotson for instructions.
