ACCIOCMT TO GOOBS TRAIN A MASS OF WRECKAGE GUARD’S HARROW ESCAPE (Per United Press Association.] TTMABU, April 15. As the result of a wagon jumping the line, the express goods train from Dunedin to Christchurch came to grief at Pareora at an early hour this morning, thirteen wagons being thrown about the station yard in a mass of wreckage. One wagon was smashed to matchwood. The guard, who was,riding in the rear van, jumped clear as the van overturned, a lid escaped injury with the exception of minor abrasions. All the others escaped injury. Th c accident caused no interruption of t.fie traffic, trains passing the wreck by loop lines.
