RAILWAYMEN INDIGNANT
NO GO-SLOW POLICY [Special to ihb ' Stab.’] AUCKLAND, April 12. A large meeting of railway workshops employees at Otahnhu at midday today emphatically denied the suggestions that a “ go slow ” policy is being pursued, or that any limitation of work lias ever been suggested. A resolution went on to state; “ Further, we have never resented the installation of modern machinery in the belief that this lessened employment; on the contrary we welcome all labour-saving devices the department cares to instal. The publication is .resented, • and we deem it grossly unfair that we should bo libelled by the vapouring of some irresponsible individual, who will now have the opportunity of coming into the open.”
