It is estimated that the total of the combined resources of the National City Hank, its subsidiary (the National City Company), and the new City Hank and Farmers’ Trust Company will bo approximately 2,100,000,000(101, the combination thus taking first rank in the United States, which was recently raptured when the Guaranty J rust and National Hank of onnneree formed a. merger valued at -HU’,000,OUOdol.—Australian I rets Association.

Visit-, ors during the evening included; Members of Rescue No. 100, AH Nations No. 13.‘ Star of Freedom No. o. also G.C.T. Bro. Dalton.. All received a hearty welcome, and suitably replied. The meeting then adjourned to participate in the birthday celebrations ot Bro. Gore and Sister Gain. Several items were rendered by the following:— Sister Williams, sen., Bro. Herbert, Sister P. South, Sister T. Williams, pin., Bro. Gore, Sister Gain, Bro. Allpress, Sister F. Anthony, jun., Sister Sf. Ravnor. Supper was then served. The Silver Star Juvenile Temple, No. i). mot the same evening, with S..LW. Sister South, sen., in charge, a large number of children Ixiing present. One candidate was initiated. Alter the 'business the juveniles were provided with swcels by Bro. Gore on the occasion of his birthday.
