The Chamber of Deputies, by 331 votes to 238, adopted a Bill providing for the readmission of certain religious orders. M. Poincare argued that the Bill was necessary because French influence in her colonial possessions was (leclining owing to a Jack of missionaries.—Australian Press Association.
